Itinerary

Day1: Srinagar: Welcome to Kashmir

You will be welcomed at the Srinagar International Airport by the agent’s representative who will then escort you to the houseboat in Dal Lake. Check-in and enjoy your lunch at the houseboat. Later in the evening, you will be taken for a shikara ride to the Nehru Park.

The day concludes with a dinner and an overnight stay in the houseboat itself.

Travel Time: 40 minutes

DAY2: Srinagar, Pahalgam: Leisure day at Pahalgam

Have a delectable breakfast at the Dal Lake and proceed for Pahalgam. Visit the Martand Sun Temple en route.

Once you reach the hotel, check-in and have lunch at the hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the beautiful valley. Take small walks or go shopping for local crafts in the nearby market areas.

The second day ends with a delicious dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.

DAY3: Pahalgam: Eventful day at Pahalgam

After breakfast, head for short excursions from Pahalgam. You can take a pony ride to the Baisaran Valley or visit the beautiful Betaab Valley.

White water rafting in the Aru Valley is also possible depending on the weather conditions. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY4: Gulmarg: A lovely day in the meadows

The next day of your Kashmir tour begins with breakfast at the hotel in Pahalgam after which you will be transferred to Gulmarg. The day is available for leisure activities such as golf, nature walks, bird watching, and pony rides.

You will be taken to the hotel in the afternoon for lunch and check-in. After lunch, head for the famous Gondola ride that takes you towards Apharwat via Kongdori. Optionally, you can go on nature walks or short hikes.

Later in the evening you will be transferred back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY5: Gulmarg, Srinagar: A relaxing day in the paradise

Check-out from the Gulmarg hotel after a hearty breakfast and proceed to Srinagar. You can take an excursion directly to the Shankaracharya Hill Temple before proceeding for check-in and lunch at the Srinagar hotel.

In the evening, you can take a tour of the beautiful Grand Mughal Gardens; namely Chashme Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY6: Srinagar, Sonamarg: Getaway to Sonamarg from Srinagar

Your Kashmir package next takes you for a day’s excursion to Sonamarg - the Meadow of Gold after a breakfast at the Srinagar hotel.

After a lunch at a local restaurant, head for a pony ride at the Thajiwas Glacier. You can also indulge in watersports at Ganderbal or take a temple tour. Due to limited time, you will be able to cover only a few of these.

In the evening, you will be taken back to the hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY7: Srinagar: Departure from Srinagar

You will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport after the breakfast in your hotel at Srinagar.

Tip: Due to strict security, you are requested to leave for the airport at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
